I should NOT be this happy about others' misfortune. But I ... ok Betsy, we ... couldn't be happier about watching those UNC-CH Tar Holes completely, utterly, fabulously choke. Bwaaaahahahahahahha. What's French for schadenfreude?
(Added the next morning) Here's a positive image to add to my unsportsmanlike (but really fun) crowing above: Georgetown students thrilling to victory on M Street. Just to drop back into the mud, I feel compelled to point out that maybe nearby Maryland fans can take a tip on safe celebrations from the Hoyas?

Ok, we knew you guys would be HAPPY today, or at least vindicated. How are the brackets going for Calvin and Carter now.
Too bad the Hoyas are a bunch of cheaters though. It should have been the Commodores taking care of UNC for you.
@nan - Heading into the final four, Betsy will win the Fat Tire shop pool if Ohio State wins it all. Carter got 1/4, I got 2/4, and Calvin tried hard and is NOT in last place.
@jess - Yeah, we thought Georgetown should have lost that game to Vanderbilt also. Sorry about that! Did you have them in your pool?
I must admit I had the Hoyas beating Vandy but I would have gladly given up the points to see my Dores win and get some respect!
can you imagine florida and ohio state as the final though? kevin and i would love to see osu fall to florida again.
and yes, watching unc fall was one of the best moments of the year.
