It's only 40 minutes until Christmas Day here, and the boys are tucked in bed - finally, after church and a lovely dinner at our friends Tom & Carol's. The Santa Tracker tells us he's in Bratislava, Slovakia, so we'd better get ourselves off to bed soon too. We've had a lovely run-up to the holidays, highlighted by several social outings and a trip to the gorgeous Opera house to see a Paris ballet school's recitals (we saw the younger kids, 12-15 years or so, and it was much more entertaining than that review).
I'm sorry I don't have time to post various pics & vids, but in the time I've been typing Santa's hit Poland and Germany, so I must hie! I still have to pack a bit for our trip to Florence - our train leaves tomorrow night at 7. We're having dinner at friends' tomorrow midday, so if we don't get a chance to catch up on the phone tomorrow, we'll post something after we arrive in Florence on Wednesday.
