Moving on

We've had a continually exciting last few days in Washington - in fact, I can't begin to recount everyone we've seen and everywhere we've gone. Tonight, we had a mini-reunion of Duke friends hosted by Dave Carlson in Kensington, and Mom & Michelle's family joined us. Tomorrow is our big travel day. After brunch with Marilyn, Mom, Cath & Victor, and Michelle & Josh & Will, we will head out to Dulles to catch our 6pm overnight flight to Madrid. We should be back to Paris around noon on Monday (6am ET). Some packing remains, so I'm off to do that and hang out a bit more with Gary & Karyn.

We've had a great time catching up with everybody, and look forward to more visitors in the coming year(s) in Paris.

Ah, here's a pic of me & Carter at the Screaming Eagles tailgate before last week's DC United game against the LA Beckhams.
