Well, blogger was down every time I tried it for the last 2-3 days, so I wasn't able to update you on our week. I'm pretty sure it was good.
Carter and I head out to Germany tomorrow (Saturday) early. We'll take the Thalys TGV line via Bruxelles (Brussels) to Köln (Cologne), then spend the afternoon there before heading to Essen for the night. We'll stay at the hotel in Essen, but Sunday do some sightseeing in the region, then Monday to Gelsenkirchen for the USA - Czech Republic match in the World Cup. (Um, soccer.) We return Tuesday.
I'm taking the laptop, so maybe you'll get German and French updates over the next few days.
