Love in a Box

I forgot! Our friend Jill, who has sons on Carter's soccer team and in Calvin's multisport class, organizes the "Love in a Box" charity that we helped with at Christmas time while Betsy was stateside. We helped pack boxes, boxes, and more boxes to give to kids who needed gifts. You can see us boys in the top-left picture here. As Jill said:

We had our most bountiful year yet with 1345 boxes given to needy children. Not only did we have lots of boxes they were of wonderful quality with great treats inside. The boxes were distributed to the following charities:
410 Salvation Army Strasbourg + Mulhouse
150 Salvation Army Paris
210 CASP -Paris
200 Les Resto du Coeur - Paris
80 Bonne Mine - Bulgaria
30 Centre Flora Tristan - Paris
150 Paris Tout-P'tits
15 Magalimenil Association - Paris
100 La chaine de l'espoir - Kabul

This is the first time our boxes have been sent to Kabul. La chaine de l'espoir is a French run children's hospital in Kabul.
